With the streaming platforms focused on producing content that adheres to the audience’s attention span rather than storytelling and quality, it has become the norm to see repeated plotlines and stories on our screens with little to no originality. These issues, mixed with the growing focus on nostalgic content, create an unstable environment for the future of films, and audiences are not having it.
