Millie Bobby Brown dialed it up to 11 for her latest look.
The actress debuted newly-dyed red hair for the season five premiere of Stranger Things in Los Angeles Nov. 6, ditching the bleach blonde locks that she’d been rocking since February.
Millie stepped out for the premiere of the Netflix series’ final season alongside husband Jake Bongiovi in a custom sheer black Rodarte gown covered in feathers and tulle detailing, which she said she “wore for the funeral of the show,” per Vogue.
But it was the 21-year-old’s striking new hair burgundy color that stole the show. She wore her hair in an updo with wispy strands framing her face for the big night, and her hairstylist Pete Burkill revealed that the new color is one that he and Millie had been wanting to experiment with for quite some time now.
“The red is something we’ve wanted to explore for a while,” he told Vogue in an interview published Nov. 7. “It gave us the perfect balance of richness, shine, and playfulness for the night.”
