“Happy Valentine’s Day,” he wrote in a Feb. 14 tribute, officially hard-launching his romance on his Instagram Stories without sharing many details about his longtime love. Except one, Hudson writing, “With me since my 2000 gold Mazda Protégé smoked and squealed and I had no job.”
Beyond that, though, he doesn’t seem interested in providing his fans with further assists.
Though as he and Connor steamed up screens as rival hockey players turned something decidedly more in Jacob Tierney‘s interpretation of Rachel Reid‘s Game Changer book series, fans have made it their goal to uncover who is on the stars’ offscreen squads.
Back in December, an anonymous host on Deuxmoi’s Deux U podcast not only took a shot at Hudson’s performance, saying, “I didn’t find the acting that strong,” they discussed viewers’ theory that he is dating the tattoo artist who gave him and Connor matching “Sex Sells” body art.
“You know what,” Hudson commented on the since-deleted post, per Variety, “I’ve grown quite unfond of you deuxmoi.”
Though it is worth noting he has “between 13 and 17” tattoos, as he detailed to Harper’s Bazaar, including his first, a drawing of Hobbes on his bicep, in tribute to “my favorite books growing up, Calvin and Hobbes.”
