The highest of leg kicks are in order.
After all, just two months after season two hit Netflix, America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders has been renewed for its third season set to air in 2026.
“The world of DCC is an embarrassment of riches when it comes to stories to be told,” director Greg Whiteley said in a press release statement August 18. “I’m grateful our crew has another season to keep telling them.”
Indeed, the Netflix docuseries, which follows longtime DCC director Kelli Finglass and choreographer Judy Trammell as they lead a crew of 36 women through the cutthroat world of NFL cheerleading, became an instant hit for just how compelling the stories of the squad members were.
Season three of America’s Sweethearts will follow the newly formed 2025-2026 squad formed during season two amid the upcoming NFL season, which officially kicks off September 4 when the Cowboys take on the Philadelphia Eagles. However, per a press release, the cameras down in Texas haven’t stopped rolling, capturing “every moment” leading up to kickoff and beyond.
