EXCLUSIVE: Julia Fox is getting in on the fun in Amazon MGM Studios and Wonderland Sound and Vision’s holiday comedy Clashing Through the Snow, joining Christopher Briney, Michelle Randolph, Lukas Gage and Paris Hilton.
The Uncut Gems star will play an iconic rock star musician in the movie which has been described as Planes, Train, And Automobiles for today’s generation. As we previously reported, Upgraded filmmaker Carlson Young is directing with Wonderland Sound and Vision partners McG and Mary Viola producing with Lena Roklin of Luber Roklin Entertainment.
Kyle Luker of Industry Entertainment is EP alongside Oscar-winning writer/director Ari Sandel. The screenplay was written by Daniel Mackey and Rebecca Ewing (Love Hard).
The fashion designer, model, actress and New York Times best-selling author Fox recently signed with UTA. She’s starred in such movies as Steven Soderbergh’s Presence, Him and Idiotka. She next stars in and executive produces the indie drama Perfect, opposite Ashley Moore, and directed by Millicent Hailes, which will make its world premiere at SXSW next week. Additional upcoming projects include Will Gluck’s One Night Only for Universal opposite Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro; Loser, written and directed by Colleen McGuinness, in which Fox also serves as an EP opposite Angourie Rice, Finn Bennett, and Gage; and the independent comedy Northbound, opposite Bruce Dern. Fox is also repped by Framework Entertainment and Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin & Dunham.
